SARASOTA – In this week’s edition of Feel Good Friday, SNN’s Grant Boxleitner spent time at the Healthy Start Coalition of Sarasota County. 

The nonprofit is holding its inaugural fundraiser, Run Baby Run 5K & Family Fun Run on Saturday morning at Payne Park in downtown Sarasota. The fun run begins at 8 a.m. and the 5K steps off at 8:30 a.m. Runners who have not registered can show up before the races on Saturday to register.

There are different fees for the fun run and 5K, depending on the time you register. 

Healthy Start provides free and confidential support for pregnant women, infants and young children. 

Race director, Dr. Jina Foltz, talks about the run and the activities and more about the organization during the segment.
