NORTH PORT (WSNN) – All Faiths Food Bank will hold a mass food distribution tomorrow.
While anyone with a need is welcome, the Food Bank is focused on helping those who may be new to needing social services due to the negative financial impacts of COVID-19.
The Food Bank has seen an increase of 40 percent new clients at recent mobile food pantry distributions.
And they’re expecting 4600 people to show up tomorrow.
The event will be held at CoolToday Park in North Port from 9 a.m. until the food runs out or 2 p.m.
Parking will be available at the center of the parking lot where the distribution will be taking place.
