ENGLEWOOD- An Englewood man and member of the Florida chapter of the Oath Keepers Organization has been indicted in connection to the January 6th Capitol riots.

54-year-old Graydon Young and three others are charged with five crimes, including destruction of government property and entering and tampering with documents or proceedings.

Young, who previously served in the U.S. Army and Navy Reserve, is also charged with obstruction of Justice and destruction of records after he deleted his Facebook posts and account.

He was arrested last Tuesday according to Pinellas County Jail booking records.

The Oath Keepers, is a far-right militia organization, who believe the federal government has been co-opted by a shadowy conspiracy that is trying to strip American citizens of their rights.

Officials say, Young applied to become a member of the Oath Keepers of Florida in December, and later worked to recruit more members on Facebook.

According to federal prosecutors, the Oath Keepers “will accept anyone as members” and explicitly focus on recruiting current and former military, law enforcement and first responder personnel.

DOJ photos appear to show Young, and others were among the group of the Oath Keepers who wore paramilitary gear and got into a military-style ‘stack’ formations and marched up the steps on the east side of the U.S. capitol and breached the door at the top, and then stormed the building.

Nearly 20 people from Florida have been arrested in connection with the riots. One of which includes, Adam Johnson, of Parish, who was seen in a viral photo carrying Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s lectern from the House. Johnson was arrested in January.
