BRADENTON (SNN-TV) – With Friday Football Fever kicking off this Friday, the slate of local games has unfortunately shrunk. The Manatee High football team will not play its Fall Classic football game Friday against Tampa Bay Tech. The cancellation resulted from cautionary measures taken to ensure the safety of the players and coaches. Manatee will now open its season at home against Miami Gulliver Prep on August 27th at 7pm.
